Tamagoyaki (Omelet) with Mixed Flower Honey
Ingredients (for 2 servings)
- Eggs
3 eggs
- Dashi soup stock (optional)
2 teaspoon
- Mixed Flower Honey (or your choice of honey)
1 teaspoon
- Salt
One pinch
- Cooking oil
as appropriate
How to make:
1Crack three eggs into a bowl, and add Dashi soup stock (optional), Mixed Flower Honey (Honey) and salt, and mix to ensure the egg whites are whisked well.
2Add vegetable oil to a heated tamagoyaki pan (or a small frying pan) and pour in 1/3 of the egg mixture.
3Cook using medium heat and be careful not to burn it. When it is half cooked, quickly fold it from the back to the front and cook it for a while longer. Add vegetable oil to the pan again and cook the remaining egg mixture in two batches.
4Leave to cool after all the omelets are rolled and cooked.
5Cut off both ends and cut them into bite-sized pieces to serve on a plate.
