Ingredients (for 2 servings)

  • Sablefish

    Two strips

  • Sudachi

    to taste

  • Pickled Ginger sticks

    to taste

  • Miso

    3 tbsp. [Honey miso]

  • Mixed Flower Honey - Made in Japan

    1 and 1/2 tbsp.[ Honey miso]

  • Cooking sake

    1 tbsp. [Honey miso]

  • Soy sauce

    1 tbsp. [Honey miso]

How to make:

1Sprinkle salt (not included in the stated quantity) on both sides of the sablefish and leave for about 15 minutes.

2Add the ingredients for [honey miso] into a bowl and mix together.

3Rinse off the salt on the sablefish and wipe off the water properly. Put the [honey miso] and sablefish into a storage bag and let it sit for at least half a day in the refrigerator.

4Wipe the [honey miso] with a paper towel and grill until blackened on the fish grill.

※Key point to remember
In place of sablefish, salmon and sea bream will also turn out delicious when cooked this way. If it seems like it will burn, place aluminum foil over it. Adjust the level of sweetness according to your preference.
