Ingredients (for 4 servings)

  • Minced meat 400g

    Onion (minced) 1/2 pieces

  • Vegetables for garnish as appropriate

    Bread crumbs 133ml

  • Eggs 2 pieces

    Milk 4 tablespoons

  • Ketchup 1 tablespoon

    Salt 1/2 teaspoons

  • granulated consommé 1/2 teaspoons

    nutmeg 1/3 teaspoons

  • Butter 10g

    Pepper as appropriate

  • Cooking oil as appropriate

  • Ketchup【sauce】4 tablespoons

    Red wine【sauce】100ml

  • Worcestershire sauce【sauce】1 tablespoon

    Mixed Flower Honey - Made in Japan【sauce】1 and 1/2 tablespoons

  • Soy sauce【sauce】1 tablespoon

How to make:

1Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onions until translucent. Spread the onions on a tray and allow to cool.
Beat the eggs in a bowl and add the milk. Add the bread crumbs and leave them to soften.
Add the ground meat, ketchup, salt, granulated consommé, nutmeg and pepper to a bowl and mix together. Combine until the mixture sticks together.

2Divide (1) into 4 equal portions and roll them into flat ovals while removing the air. 

3Heat the salad oil in a frying pan, place (2) in the pan and cook over medium heat.

4When browned, flip over and pour water (not included in the ingredients list) until it comes half way up the hamburger patties. Cover and steam over medium heat. Add the sauce ingredients and cook for about 8 minutes. Finish by melting and stirring in the butter.
Place the patties on a plate and pour over the sauce. Garnish with vegetables.

5Key point to remember
Combining the patty mixture thoroughly until it sticks together helps to keep the patties from falling apart and makes them fluffy.
