Beef Shogayaki
Ingredients (for 2 servings)
- beef (Thinly sliced meat):250g
Roasted white sesame:as appropriate
- Green bell pepper:1/2 piece
Ginger of Gigner Pickled in Honey:40g
- Flour:as appropriate
Cooking oil:as appropriate
- Onion:1/2 piece
Vegetables as garnish (lettuce, tomatoes, etc.):as appropriate
- 【A】 Ginger Pickled in Honey:1 tablespoon
【A】 Soy sauce:2 tablespoons
- 【A】 Cooking sake:1 tablespoon
How to make:
1Cut the beef into bite-sized chunks and lightly dust with flour. Slice the onions thinly into 5mm pieces, and chop the green peppers into 5mm pieces.
2Heat the vegetable oil in the frying pan, and saute the beef in (1). Once the meat has changed color, place it in the tray and wipe off impurities with a paper towel.
3Add the onions to (2) and saute until softened. Add the bell peppers and pickled ginger and quickly saute them, add the beef back in, add [A] and saute together. Arrange in bowl and sprinkle white sesame on top. Garnish with additional vegetables.

This is a recipe in which you can taste the Ginger in the Ginger Pickled in Honey as an ingredient. For the thin beef slices, you can use thinly sliced chuck eye roll or kalbi intended for BBQ for a rich finish.
