Tarte Tatin with plenty of honey

Ingredients (Serves 4)
- apple
1 piece
- Pancake mix
100g
- milk
100cc
- egg
1 piece
- Honey & Lemon
大さじ2
- Raisins
30g
- rum
大さじ1
- butter
30g
- Manuka honey
大さじ1
- Cinnamon: as needed
Mint: as needed
How to make it
1Remove the cores from the apples and cut them into 7mm-wide wedges with the skin on. Soak the raisins in rum.
2Combine the eggs and milk in a bowl and mix well. Add the hotcake mix and the raisins (from step 1) along with the rum, and mix roughly.
3Heat butter in a frying pan and fry the apples. When the butter is evenly distributed, add the honey and lemon and fry until the apples are golden brown. Arrange the apples in the frying pan, add ②, cover and fry over medium heat for about 8 minutes.
4Once cooked, place a plate on the frying pan and invert to serve. Sprinkle with cinnamon and garnish with mint if desired. Drizzle with plenty of Manuka Honey to serve.
[Tip:]
You can also use Fruit Juice Infused Honey other than honey & lemon to make this delicious. Cut the apples thickly to enjoy the texture.
