Thick fried tofu with Manuka miso dengaku
Ingredients (for 2 servings)
- Thick fried tofu

- Egg yolk

- Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
- White sesame
as appropriate
- Leaf buds
as appropriate
- Kabosu (a type of citrus fruit)
as appropriate
- [A]Red miso
50g
- 【A】Manuka Honey
4 tablespoon
- 【A】Cooking sake
2 tablespoons
- 【A】Sweet cooking sake
1 tablespoon
How to make:
1Put [A] in a pot and mix it together, then heat it over medium heat.
Stir with a spatula to prevent burning and simmer until it thickens.
Turn off the heat and mix in the egg yolk.
2Take thick fried tofu and pat it dry with kitchen paper. Cut it into quarters.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and cook the tofu until both sides are golden brown.
3Put it in a dish and pour ① over it.
Sprinkle white sesame seeds and garnish with tree buds and kabosu.
4【Tips】
You can make it delicious with Acacia Honey and other types of honey besides Manuka Honey.
When adding egg yolk to miso paste for tatsuta-age, quickly stir it and be careful not to let the egg yolk solidify.
