Ingredients (for 2 servings)

  • Scallop (sashimi grade)

    100g

  • Grapefruit

    0.5

  • Baby leaf

    as appropriate

  • Pink pepper (or substitute with black pepper if you can't find)

    One pinch

  • 【marinade liquid】Olive Oil

    2 tablespoon

  • 【marinade liquid】Apple Cyder Vinegar

    1 tablespoon

  • 【marinade liquid】Orange Honey

    1 teaspoons

  • 【marinade liquid】Grated garlic

    1/2 teaspoons

  • 【marinade liquid】Salt

    1/2 teaspoons

  • 【marinade liquid】Black pepper

    One pinch

How to make:

1Mix the [Marinade] ingredients together in a bowl.

2Slice the scallops in half horizontally.
Peel the grapefruit, make shallow cuts in the membrane, and remove the flesh.

3Add 1. and 2. to a bowl and combine gently.

4Arrange the marinated scallops in a serving dish with baby greens and a sprinkle of pink pepper.

5[Tips]
You can also use smoked salmon or prosciutto instead of a scallop.
Marinating the scallop for too long may result in it changing color, so be sure to mix in the marinade just before serving.
