Lemon-Marinated Seabream
Ingredients (for 2 servings)
- Seabream (alternatives: horse mackerel, scallop, octopus, or similar)・One fillet
Onion・1/2 pieces
- Tomato (medium size) ・1/2 pieces
Green shiso leaf・5
- Thinly sliced ginger・Five slices
Black pepper・as appropriate
- Baby leaf lettuce・as appropriate
Olive Oil (A)・5 tablespoons
- Apple Vinegar (A)・1 and 1/2 tablespoon
Lemon & Honey (A)・2 teaspoons
- Salt (A)・2 teaspoons
Light soy sauce (A)・1 teaspoons
- Black pepper (A)・as appropriate
How to make:
1Thinly slice the onion, rinse with water, and drain excess liquid. Slice the shiso leaves and ginger into thin strips, rinse separately, and drain excess liquid. Cut the tomato into bite-sized cubes and the seabream into 1cm diagonal slices.
2In a bowl, mix together the ingredients for (A).
3Arrange baby leaf lettuce and the mixture from step 3 on a plate. Place shiso leaves and ginger on top. Drizzle (A) over the dish and finish by sprinkling some black pepper.
4The lemon marinade mixture can also be used as a dressing for salads.
